World Book Day
Our school was awash with brilliant costumes to celebrate World Book Day. It is always a great day marking World Book Day. Reading is such an important skill for children to have and the gift of a book can open up a world to learning and imagination. Take a look at our video on YouTube “The more that you read , the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.” Dr. Suess

Science Week
For Science Week we investigated floating. The children made boats from playdoh then tested them to see how many passengers (peas) they could carry. 3 boats floated one carried 43 passengers! Children investigated how blubber can keep animals warm in cold climates using Vaseline and dropping liquid onto the skin. This was carried out by Ms. Flynn during her teacher training.
