Annual Dublin Tour 2024 – What a Day!
An early start at 6am to make it to the Gaiety Panto for Beauty and the Beast at 10.30am… and it was worth every yawn! Our planned visit to the Dáil was cancelled last minute due to President Zelenskyy's visit, but we still got a special surprise when Dara Calleary TD popped by to say hello outside the Gaiety! Second Class Maths - 2D Shapes
2nd Class have been learning about the properties of 2D shapes. We had fun sorting different types of shapes into groups. We also used a post-it note to check for right angles in our 2D shapes, and around the classroom!

Election Fever!
Our Student Council elections took place yesterday. Over the past couple of weeks, the children from 3rd-6th class have been creating their manifestos and canvassing to their peers. This was a great way for the students to learn about their democratic right to vote/freedom of choice especially with the upcoming presidential election just days away. Banana Bread Bonanza!
