Second Class had great fun creating their wonderful Christmas Art works.

Our Junior Infants put on a lovely Nativity Play performance this week called “The Innkeeper’s Breakfast.” They had worked very hard rehearsing over the last couple of weeks and deserve every praise! Thank you to Ms.Cunnane and Ms. Lambkin for preparing the children so well!

Our Autism classrooms just completed a fantastic 6-week block at Nadia Gymnastics Throughout the programme, our students built strength, balance, and coordination while exploring movement in a fun, structured, and supportive environment. For Science Week we investigated floating. The children made boats from playdoh then tested them to see how many passengers (peas) they could carry. 3 boats floated one carried 43 passengers! Children investigated how blubber can keep animals warm in cold climates using Vaseline and dropping liquid onto the skin. This was carried out by Ms. Flynn during her teacher training.

An early start at 6am to make it to the Gaiety Panto for Beauty and the Beast at 10.30am… and it was worth every yawn!   Our planned visit to the Dáil was cancelled last minute due to President Zelenskyy's visit, but we still got a special surprise when Dara Calleary TD popped by to say hello outside the Gaiety!   After the show, we headed to Liffey Valley for some well-deserved shopping before making our way home… with a little extra drama thanks to a puncture!   Oh no we di

2nd Class painted beautiful 'Winter Robins'. We discussed why robins are so important and special. We then displayed them on our Art Wall.

2nd Class have been learning about the properties of 2D shapes. We had fun sorting different types of shapes into groups. We also used a post-it note to check for right angles in our 2D shapes, and around the classroom!
